Folkets Hus & Park, Sundsvall (the peoples' house & park)
 Rock, jazz, dance, concerts, parties, movie theatres, business meetings…you find it all here. The Folkets Hus och Park ”movement” in Sweden started around the 19th turn of the century to give people a place for meetings, pleasure and enjoyment. Over 100 years later, our purpose is still the same. We have two facilities in Sundsvall; 1) Folkets Hus and 2) Folkets Park with Tonhallen and it’s park area.
Folkets Hus
Folkets Hus is situated in the central parts of the city, within walking distance from the train and bus-stations. The building also hosts the Scandic Hotel Sundsvall City with 201 rooms, parking garage, conference centre and restaurants, se below.
Restaurant & Pub, entertainment
Restaurant Aveny
 is our largest restaurant, where up to 600 guests can be seated. Thursdays, you can dance to the most popular Swedish dance orchestras (from end of August - beginning of June). A la carte menu. Saturdays, you’ll find a live band playing covers on stage. Dj on two dance floors; in the discotheque Melody you can dance to the latest hits, upstairs in Aveny the dj plays all the best party music. Mondays (depending on season) the local jazzclub offers entertainment by various jazz musicians on tour. For program see www.jazzklubben.nu
All other days it is possible to rent the restaurant Aveny for company events and other occasions.

The Mercat Cross
 is our Scottish pub and restaurant open 6 days/week, closed Sundays. Pub- and a la carte menu. We offer a wide selection of whisky – find your favourite! Live entertainment by a troubadour on Saturdays, from September to May.
Lunch is served Mon - Fri 11.00-13.00. No lunches during summer.
Pub opens at 5 p.m.
Cinema
“Filmstaden” is our cinema with 8 movies on the repertoire. Open from 5 p.m. seven days a week. On the weekends there are movies for children in the afternoon. During daytime the cinema facilities can be used for conferences.
Conference
 Sundsvalls Konferenscenter organizes small meetings, big conferences and everything in between. We have 24 conference rooms in Folkets Hus, the largest for 350 participants. All rooms have wireless internet access. The largest conference rooms are equipped with special devices for people with hearing impairment. All conference rooms (except one) are accessible with wheel-chair.
With various entertainment, Scandic Hotel Sundsvall City in the house, a parking garage in the basement and walking distance to the downtown shopping, the convenience is at its best.
Our conference package includes a conference room, coffee/tea break with sandwich/bread am and pm, lunch, fruit and candy in the conference room. Price: 355 SEK including vat. (295 SEK except tax)

Parking Garage
Our parking garage with space for 150 cars is very appreciated, especially in winter time. With the elevator, you can comfortably reach the hotel or conference reception.

Folkets Park with Tonhallen
Folkets Park and Tonhallen are beautifully situated at the bottom of Norra Berget (north mountain). Close to the city, but still in peaceful surroundings. Except from conference rooms and the concert- and congress hall Tonhallen, you find a lunch restaurant and a play ground for children here. “Rotundorna” is a large dance floor, a stage and a cafeteria which can be hired for parties and various company activities.
Tonhallen
 Tonhallen seats 831 participants and has an entrance, well suited for exhibitions. Complementary conference rooms for 8-100 persons are available. The majority of the rooms have wireless internet access. Free parking for conference guests on the parking lot above the miniature golf.
